DIY Fishtail Braid Friendship Bracelet. The bracelet in the middle. What’s different about this friendship bracelet? It has incredibly detailed braiding instructions and is easy to follow because of the very different colored threads. Tutorial from Oh So Pretty here.

Four Trendy Bedroom Do-It-Yourselfs

Want to update your bedroom with the latest trends, but don’t want to break the bank?  Check out these great ideas!

Ombre is everywhere in clothing and in home decor.  Add an easy touch to your home with the Ombre Frame tutorial found at http://vitaminihandmade.blogspot.com/2012/05/ombre-photo-frame-how-to.html

Accent doors are in every designer’s home right now.  Any fabric to match your decor can work, and can go in children and adult’s bedrooms alike.  The fabric covered door tutorial can be found at http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2011/09/how-to-wallpaper-using-fabric.html

Chevron is really popular this season, especially in decor.  It is found on china, notecards, and bedspreads.  Add this simple rug to any bedroom to give it a quick trendy update. The chevron rug tutorial can be found at http://thehousethatlarsbuilt.blogspot.com/2012/02/diy-friendship-bracelet-chevron-rug.html

Nothing is trendier than going green!  Lucky for us, wood room accents are also a big trend in home decor.  Repurpose old floorboard scraps or any scrap wood to make this gorgeous wooden jewelry stand found at http://remadeit.co.uk/2012/03/a-floorboard-jewellery-stand/

Told ya I was gonna make a jewelry crate/box! :) I still need to attach a picture hanger on the back so I can hang it on my wall :D But I think it turned out fairly well (: Under the fabric is cork board so you can punch your earrings through it and they will hang. Super convenient! And it’s super cute and will look great hanging on a wall (:

I’ll be adding a little bowl to sit in there to hold rings and smaller pieces, and I’ll finish hanging the rest of my jewelry in it soon. :)

I felt like making something nice for my husband so combined a couple of ideas I have gathered from other projects Ive seen recently.

Here it is-a wee book of cards filled with nice messages for my hubby. He loved it-he keeps it by the bed!
